Games for Smartphone Virus infiltrated

"3D Game AntiTerrorist and PDA Poker Art is available on a site that provides software for mobile phones," said John Hering, CEO of Lookout security company in San Francisco.

The hackers apparently have implanted the virus into the games designed for Windows-based smart phones. Allegedly, they were deliberately targeting smart phone users because of the high sales of the mobile phone.

"These services are run by the programmers who create the software," said Hering. Victims usually do not realize that their phone has been infected until they get bloated phone bills.

This game is bundled with malicious software that will automatically make an international call up to Somalia, Italy and other countries. No kidding, that phone bills can swell up to million's of dollars each month.

"As usual, Microsoft will continue to encourage users to follow the steps of the 'Protect Your compter', applying all software updates and installing anti-virus and anti-spyware software," said company spokesman Microsoft.
