KOMODO GAMES


Game artificial student of Computer Science and Electronics UGM entitled 'Save Komo' won the award in ina Game Show 2012.

According Rifauddin, an award named Game Developer Award consists of 6 main categories of 2D PC Game, 3D PC Games, Smartphone based games, Featurephone based games, Flash based games and non-Flash based games.

The GMU students who are members of Creacle Game Studio and is involved in the competition that is Gathot Dawn (Computer Science 2008), Firdaus Ismail (Computer Science 2008), Irkham Huda (Computer Science 2008), Rifauddin Tsalitsy (Computer Science 2009) and Eko Nugroho (Computer Science 2009)

"In this competition Save Komo won the award in the category of The Best Non Flash Game Based," said Rifauddin, in a written statement on Wednesday (17/10/2012).

In addition, there are two additional categories, namely the Special Award for Innovative Mobile Game and Favorite Local Game Developer.

"The purpose of making this game is to bring awareness to the players to protect and care for dragons that are typical ina rare animal," he added.

Save Komo Rifauddin explained that the skeleton is a physics game - puzzle with the objective in each level to save babies dragons that are on top of the container by removing some containers arranged. Games can be played online at the link http://bit.ly/savekomo.

Until now Game Studio artificial itusudah GMU students created some games on various platforms, such as Legend of Ghatotkacha, Arjuna The Archer, Bima The Conqueror, Madfish, and others.

The event was attended by about 20 ina game developer. Judging by the three judges, namely Shuji Utsumi from Q Entertainment, Andy Suryanto of Lyto and Aditya from GameStation.
